<div>Lofoten Ski Rental wants you as a user to be assured that we protect your privacy and process all personal data in accordance with the law.
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">LSR processes your personal information in a secure data register in order to fulfill its obligations and safeguard their rights in accordance with the lease. The personal information that is processed is the name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and order history. This history will remain stored for accounting and other obligations. All saved information is available on "My Account". As a customer, you have the right to have your personal information removed from LSR's systems, which is done by personal contact to LSR.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Your debit card will be saved as long as you have an active order. Storage of the payment card is done at our payment provider STRIPE. They keep the information in a safe and sound manner. Departure card storage makes it even easier when booking. You can delete debit cards on your page. LSR stores no credit card details.</p>

<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">In order to use the online booking service, you must provide your name, address, telephone number and email. In order to register an order, information about the time of rental and the type of equipment reserved/ordered must also be stored. The age limit for using the service is 18 years and you must therefore also state your year of birth. When using the service, your order history is stored. This personal data is used to deliver the service to you. This personal data is stored for as long as you are registered as a user with us. The personal data we have registered is available and can be changed on your page. You can also contact us and request that we remove your personal data or be deregistered from our systems. You will then no longer be able to use the service unless you re-register.</p>

<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Lofoten Ski Rental will not sell, exchange or pass on your personal information. Order information is handled in a system provided by <a style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" href="https://sharefox.no/">Sharefox</a>.</p>
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;"><br />Payment information</h2>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">When you place an order, your card information is stored with the payment provider STRIPE to handle your order. STRIPE stores the information in a safe and secure manner and is PCI certified. This allows us to process order changes, cancellation of reservations such as deposits, crediting, additional costs incurred by the user (in the event of late submission, damage or the like), as well as reducing misuse and fraud. Transaction data will be stored related to your order, but not the card details. Transaction data will be stored for as long as you are registered as a user of the service, cf. the section on personal data.</p>
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;"><br />Use of collected information</h2>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">The personal data collected for these purposes includes both information you provide yourself (name, e-mail address, etc.) and information collected through the use of the service, such as what equipment you rent and information about the location and technical information about your device and internet connection. The personal data may be supplemented with available information from third parties.</p>

<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">When you visit our service, we use various technologies to recognize you as a user and collect data. For example, we use cookies to remember rental dates and equipment. Cookies facilitate the use of the service and to provide you with relevant information when you visit our website. They are also used to temporarily store data such as available rental dates, prices and the like.</p>

The deposit works just like when you use a hotel or rental car. When ordering, an extra amount is reserved on your card for a small security against damage or late return. Once you have returned, we will check the equipment and release the amount on your card. Everything happens automatically and you do not have to do anything.
